Course Information: This is a 4 day course on advanced electricity. The course will help one to understand the theory of AC electricity and circuits.

Class Prerequisites: Participants should have knowledge of basic electricity. Participants should bring a calculator with trig functions, pencil, and paper to class.

Class Subjects:

Day One – 8 Hours

• Basic electricity review

• AC basics

• Inductance theory

• Inductive circuits

Day Two – 8 Hours

• Capacitance theory

• Capacitive circuits

• Capacitive, resistive circuits

Day Three – 8 Hours

• Resistance, inductive reactance and capacitive reactance, series circuits.

Day Four – 8 Hours

• Resonance series circuits and review.
