Waiman Yip Waiman graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1985 and began her career with the Department in the Delta Planning Branch. Most of her experience with DWR has been in water resources development planning, working in the Bay-Delta Office and Division of Planning and Local Assistance. She has managed various programs including the South Delta Water Management Program, Central California Water Management Program, California Water Plan updates, and Integrated Storage Investigations. She had a short stint in the State Water Project Analysis Office in the early 1990's and was on special assignment in 2006 on the emergency repair of critical erosion sites. Most recently, she served as an Assistant to the Deputy Director of Integrated Water Management. Contact Information:
