Planning Grants are intended to foster development or completion of IRWM Plans or components thereof, to enhance regional planning efforts, and to assist more applicants to become eligible for Implementation Grant funding.

Proposition 84 IRWM Planning Grant

Round 2 Application Summary NEW

On March 9, 2012, DWR received 22 Planning Grant Applications requesting $13.3M in grant funds; total project cost of these projects is $20.7M. DWR is currently reviewing these applications to rank and award $9M in grant funding.

Proposal Solicitation Package Round 2

DWR announces the release of the IRWM Planning Grant Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) for the second round of planning grant funding.

The complete application and all supporting documentation must be submitted via DWR's BMS and hardcopies must be received at DWR by 5:00 p.m. on March 9, 2012. Please see the PSP on how to submit hard copies.
