| Stumping of Avocado Trees and the Removal of Orange trees in Valley Center
California. Due to decreasing water deliveries, decisions are made by avocado and citrus
ranchers to limit their losses by removing or stumping trees. This allows them to keep some
acreage in production rather than losing all of their trees. |
