Drought Effects

Stumping of Avocado Trees and the Removal of Orange trees in Valley Center California. Due to decreasing water deliveries, decisions are made by avocado and citrus ranchers to limit their losses by removing or stumping trees. This allows them to keep some acreage in production rather than losing all of their trees.
