DWR used the Alternative Licensing Procedures (ALP) to prepare its license application. DWR engaged a collaborative process to consult with Federal and State resource agencies, Indian tribes, local organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other interested parties. DWR believed the ALP offered the best opportunity to obtain input and feedback from a broad array of interests. The ALP alternative used by DWR is the Applicant Prepared Environmental Assessment (APEA) process.

Some information previously available on the archived Oroville Faciities Relicensing Process web site can still be found on the existing Oroville Facilities Relicensing web site.

However, the Oroville Facilities Relicensing Process web site has been archived and is available by request on a PC compatible DVD.
