If you aren't already certified, you may have the following questions about certification: Q - How do I know if I am eligible to be certified as a small or disabled veteran business? Answers to these and other questions related to either SB or DVBE certification may be found on the DGS OSDS website. A - If you are not already a certified small or disabled veteran-owned business, and you do not know the certification requirements, the Office of Small Business and DVBE Services (OSDS) can assist you understand Small Business Certification and Eligibility Requirements. This site offers comprehensive information about SB/DVBE benefits and eligibility requirements. Firms may submit certification applications electronically which speeds the certification process. To help firms through the certification process, DGS OSDS provides an on-line tutorial through the Supplier Registration Certification Manual to help firms become certified. Actual certification is obtained through the DGS eProcurement website. Contractors may also request an expedite review of their application if they responding to a solicitation and wish to be considered for the SB preference for that solicitation. Instructions for expedite process are also included for bidders desiring and expedite. Q - Whom do I contact to assist me when I have questions regarding either the SB or DVBE program?
