Hydrology
The Hydrology Branch handles water supply and flood forecasting as well as providing technical expertise and specialized studies in flood hydrology, meteorology, and related topics. Branch functions include the Chief Hydrologist, and the State Meteorologist. The Branch also operates and manages the California Data Exchange Center.
