Flood-MAR Forum
The Flood-MAR Network invites you to join us on November 7 & 8, 2023 for the 4th biennial Flood-MAR Forum at the CSUS Harper Alumni Center in Sacramento. Together we will explore technical, socioeconomic, regulatory, and policy considerations to advance implementation of projects that use floodwaters for managed aquifer recharge (Flood-MAR).
Since the last Flood-MAR Forum in 2021, we experienced a historically wet winter and saw Flood-MAR implementation expand in real-time. This Forum aims to share success stories and lessons learned from the landmark wet winter of 2022-2023 and help the Flood-MAR community better prepare for the next wet winter to further advance Flood-MAR implementation for the benefit of communities, ecosystems, and agriculture.
Anyone interested in learning about Flood-MAR and expanding Flood-MAR project implementation throughout California is encouraged to attend.
